The Triangle of Evil

Article 2

To reference any terms used in this article, please refer to the helpful glossary. All terms used in this article are in yellow for your ease. Please note that there is a downloadable version of this article at the bottom of this page, all scriptures are taken from the King James version of the Bible.

In our previous article we looked at the who, what, why, when, and where of the process of the seals of Revelation being opened in our hearts and the transition of the tribal listings from Genesis to Revelation’s 144,000. As we began writing this “Triangle of Evil” article the Lord made clear that we should think of the entire previous article as the “Who”. This would imply that this current article is the “What”.

As you know we saw in our previous article that the purpose of the horses of the apocalypse is to invite us to take a journey from natural being to spiritual being. This article goes further into the events and experiences of this journey. We will give explanations of the love of the world, i.e., pride of life, lust of the flesh and lust of the eyes. We will look at how the developmental process of the five-fold ministry positions requires us to experience life in all five of these endowments, to be perfected or completed in our own calling, which links with the letters of Revelation. We will look at the components of the soul and the temptations that the Lord endured. We will begin by looking further at the current state of the “church” and how the commandments given to Moses give the five ministry positions their right to operate.

If you are new to this site, please check out home page and The Revelation of Revelation article before reading this one. The home page gives important information about the original authorship of the apostolic and prophetic wisdom presented here. The Revelation of Revelation article should be considered the first in this series of articles on the who, what, why, when, and where of our spiritual journey. At the end of each of our articles is a list of the original website articles that can be accessed for further understanding. It is hoped that the truth taught here will resonate with your spirit and that the Lord will confirm the components presented here in this introductory format.

The Triangle

The triangle of evil depicts the position of the ungodly spirits that we must all fight against to operate successfully in the ministry position that was given to us by God at natural birth, not salvation. The five ministry positions as detailed in Ephesians 4v11 are apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher. We see here as in scripture that the terms pastor and teacher are linked together. This pair represents the Man face of the four faces of Revelation 4v7. The apostle represents the Lion face, the prophet the Eagle face, and the evangelist the Bull/ox/calf face.

And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was  like a flying eagle.

Each of the external positions on the triangle of evil corresponds to one of the five-fold ministry positions on the triangle of ministries.

When under the influence of the soul, the soul matriarchy, rather than operating in our spirit, each of the ministry positions are corrupted by a different ungodly spirit.

Deuteronomy 7v1-2

When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou; And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them.

As we saw above the Amorite corrupts the functioning of the evangelist, the Jebusite the apostle, the Hittite the prophet, the Girgashite the teacher, and the Canaanite the pastor. Each of these ministry positions relate to the last five commandments and the erosion of these rights more widely demonstrates the losing, or not using, of the authority associated with each.

  • Exodus 20v13 Thou shalt not kill.
  • Exodus 20v14  Thou shalt not commit adultery.
  • Exodus 20v15  Thou shalt not steal.
  • Exodus 20v16  Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
  • Exodus 20v17  Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

In the table below we see the relationship between each of the ministry positions, the relevant commandment, and the right they are given by God.

From the table above it can be seen that the evangelist has the right to a public domain which is necessary to be able to operate as an evangelist and bring the salvation message to people outside the church enclosure. An apostle has the right to speak out new wisdom, and judgement, to bring revelation and righteousness without losing their reputation. A prophet has the right to life and should not be “killed”, literally or spiritually, for speaking prophetically. A pastor has the right to privacy, a private domain, and should not have adultery committed against them. The teacher is given the right to “property” as this is how they accumulate vast quantities of knowledge given to them by the apostle, for them to digest and regurgitate in smaller portions to those they hope to teach.

Of the five-fold ministry positions the corrupted pastor is responsible for committing a form of “self-harm” by invading the privacy of others, breaching their privacy and private domain, and breaking the commandment that gives the pastor the right to operate, and thereby committing “adultery”. This has been happening in the church for hundreds of years, to all of us. Those individuals who have undertaken training to “qualify themselves” in the pastoral role and attempt to be the “head of the church” throughout all the de-nominate-ions have put themselves in a position they should not occupy, between any individual and God. This is a personal relationship, unique and individual to each of us. They knowingly or unknowingly do this to “take possession” of the individual and entitle themselves to the adoration that God alone should receive. For too long they have over-stepped into a position that God did not intend, invading the privacy of another. (This is not a physical act of adultery but a spiritual adultery). When they do this, they make it impossible for the other person to operate in their pastoral capacity. We will see below that each of us, at different stages in our spiritual journey, will experience having a pastoral endowment to function in to reach the completion of our calling, so this “damage” to our private and personal relationship as part of the bride affects all of us personally. When the pastor thinks of themselves as the “head of the church” they try to take the Lord’s place and try to “marry” the body of believers, who are promised to another. The pastor exposing the “nakedness” of another person by their “adultery” breaks the 7th commandment. There is another level of “adultery” which relates to the corrupted evangelist perverting the five-fold ministry’s functioning, but we will not cover this here. (2Tim 3v1-5). (For those interested a full explanation can be found on Performance Art (Higgaion.net).

We should recognise that all believers are given the rights to operate in the ministry endowments as the commandments were given to all people, not just to a group of “leaders” who qualify themselves by attending a theology school to get a “title”. Did Jesus or his disciples have certificates of authenticity? No, they were accepted, listened too, and heard by the truth they spoke for those who would receive the Lord or his disciples.

It is God’s intention for us all to be perfected in our callings. The experience of operating in all five of the ministries, is the means of maturing, and ultimately coming together in unity as the one body of Christ, without the separation of titles and de-nominate-ions, and so the commandments do not just give the right to a public domain to the individual evangelist, or the right to a fair reputation only to those functioning as an apostle. We all have the rights offered by the commandments and the invitation of the horses to go through a process of development from one ministry endowment to another.  So, a local pastor, who has served in the church building for years might be considered by God as a “slow-learner” at best, or over-run with ungodly spirits at worst, if he has not progressed to being an apostle, which is the completion of the pastoral role, where the individual is willing and capable of making spiritual judgement and operating in righteousness.

Some might think that criticism of a “church leader” is unfounded or not biblical. This suggests that there is a kind of “Stockholm syndrome” operating within believers. This is a syndrome that commonly occurs in people who are taken hostage, so they adopt the political or religious cause the hostage takers are fighting for. Attempting to leave a church congregation is often the time we first discover we are not where we thought we were. Our explanation of the “abomination of desolation” in The Revelation of Revelation article makes clear the Lord’s instructions in Matthew 24 and the actions that we should take when we see this event occurring.

If we respond to the white horse shout (Revelation 6v1) and begin the journey of opening the seven seals in our heart, we go from natural being to spiritual being and simultaneously go through the stages of perfecting in our calling. This requires us to move out of the natural talent or ability we are born with to function in the other four ministry positions in which we are less comfortable. The path of this process is a seven-step-cycle through the five ministries. We are finally perfected in the fifth stage when we undertake the task most unnatural to us.

The seven-step progression from each ministry starting position is +1, +2, +1, +1, +2 around the ministries cycle in a clockwise direction.

Figuratively speaking, if the “male-type” endowments of evangelist, apostle and prophet are not operating because evangelists are not allowed a public domain to speak, apostles are not allowed to bring wisdom and judgement, and prophets are not allowed to prophesy then the spiritual, “male” aspects of believers cannot be fed. The only thing that gets fed by the pastor and teacher; in that “female-type” nurturing role is the soul. A pastor or teacher cannot nourish the spirit. The soul by its nature is soulish, carnal, and weak, it gives in to temptation. It does not like judgement or suffering. We can see in the table above that the pastoral role is completed in its most uncomfortable position when functioning as an apostle who brings judgement and righteousness and suffers and endures for long periods of time. So, if our pastor, priest, bishop, or church leader, doesn’t recognise the importance of, and need for, righteous spiritual judgment they are not yet perfected in their calling, despite their “worldly qualification”. Should they be the “head” leading us? Can they lead us to a righteous God of judgement that they don’t yet know themselves?

Isaiah 9:6-7

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

It is difficult for spiritually undernourished believers who have been “smothered” by a soulish “female-type” leader to grow in their spirit or mature in their calling despite decades in the “church”. We can see this by the fact that most current churches do not have an active five-fold ministry presence in them despite it being the way scripture tells us we become the body of Christ and grow up into Him. (Ephesians 4v11) It is also apparent that the soulish pastor cannot teach spiritually nourishing material because there is no “programme” to develop believers into these positions despite their being programmes and courses from time to time on Christian marriage or identifying your calling. Any programmes that do attempt to improve or develop the believer in their calling generally encourage the enthusiastic to go to the de-nominate-ions own theology school to “qualify as a pastor” or square-brick - the same shape and density as the other “bricks” that had previously been qualified there. The young and aspiring spirit filled youth corralled into the pursuit of being a pastor, as the only option on the table. In most church settings, the only representation of the five-fold ministry apparent or recognised is the pastor and occasionally a visiting prophet or evangelist. It should be re-stated here that we each have a calling, a place in the body, within the five-fold ministries, which God desires us to fulfil, but if/when we hear the white horse shout and respond we will go through the experience of operating in the four other endowments. This does not change our original calling. Though we go through the stages of being man-lion face (teacher-apostle) red horse riders, moving on to lion-eagle face (apostle-prophet) black horse riders and finally eagle-man face (prophet-pastors) green horse riders if we choose to accept the invitation to “Come and see” (Rev 6v1), we remain an apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, or teacher that we were called to be in the beginning, there is simply what we might say “more depth” to us.

With the pastoral functioning of believers often being deliberately corrupted through “adultery”, an invasion into our private domain, and personal relationship with the Lord, comes malfunction of our own up-and-coming pastoral endowment. With a quick look back at the seven-step development of the calling’s table we can see the stage at which each endowment goes through the pastoral stage.

This means that evangelists struggle to respond to what they hear the white horse speak and cannot easily perform as red horse riders. The apostles struggle to move into the 2nd step of the red horse stage. The teachers struggle to move from the 2nd step of the red horse into the black horse stage and the prophets struggle to move from the black horse into the green horse stage. So, by breaking the 7th commandment, with 7 being the number of completion and committing “adultery”, the qualified but-not-perfected pastor, priest, or bishop delays the growth and development of the whole body at all five stages and seven steps. Sadly, our response to this debacle is often to respond by breaking the 1st commandment by having another god, our less-than perfect-leader, which can lead to us working for the enemy - whilst believing it is working for the Lord. Do we love our leaders so much we would rather serve them in their earthly ministry than complete our own calling? Discovering that you have failed in your calling, lost it altogether, or that you missed the timing of God is a devastating event that you will likely never recover from.

Being In the Wrong Place at the Wrong Time

Being led by a leader operating in their own soul, “pastoral matriarchy” (of the collective) routinely results in believers being dominated by their own souls, “soul matriarchy” (individual). The ungodly spirits easily lead us astray because of our lack of spiritual discernment and our soulish dislike and avoidance of judgement and righteousness. When the “female-like” maternal soul of both male and female believers dominates over the “male spirit” that took up residence within each of us at salvation there is a denial of God’s presence. At this denial of His presence, Hittite, prophetic-enemy-spirits are authorised by God to rush in.

At the fall when Adam knowingly made the decision to do what Eve had told him to do, he subjected his spirit to his soul, the soul matriarchy. This is sin. Most of humankind has followed in this sin, of subjecting the spirit within us to our soul, with one clear exception, the Lamb of God and perhaps Enoch who walked with the Lord, and Noah, who God saw as righteous. Sin causes separation from God, “death”. When we are living “in sin” and “separated from God”, the soul matriarchy becomes more powerful by the Law (Mosaic – Old Covenant), hence the importance of recognising we are a new covenant people with direct access to the Lord, in a personal and private relationship. The “sting”, the consequence of living life in this way, with our soul ruling the spirit, is that our lives are subject to Hittite attack and a life full of purposelessness, i.e., going to “church” and not growing or functioning in our calling and not fulfilling our purpose. To overcome our own souls and the pastoral matriarchy, that the body of Christ is overwhelmed with at the present time, we must recognise that we are spirit beings, with a presence growing INside of us, we must stop denying the Lord. Aren’t we to become the Temples of God?

His presence has been growing on the INside of us since salvation whether we recognise it or have been taught to doubt it. We must now live out a new covenant life in direct relationship and communication with God, without pious intermediaries intervening on our behalf. We must stop the pastors committing spiritual adultery and getting in the way of our private domain and personal relationship with God.

Romans 5:12

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

1Corinthians 15:56

The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

When believers are discouraged from growing in their Christian journey by soulish misadventure the Hittite spirits are allowed to run amok. The Hittite spirit can easily be recognised as the spirit that causes people to say things that others recognise as false prophecy. This occurs when people who are called as prophets are operating in the soul and not in the spirit. Each of the five ministry positions are corrupted when led by the soul and not the spirit and behave as shown in the table below.

The ungodly Hivite and Perizzite spirits are not related to any of the five- fold ministry positions but are a distortion of the godly spirits of Jehovah Shalom and Jehovah Nissi that relate to the Revelation letters to the Laodiceans and Philadelphians respectively. (Revelation 3v7+14).

People under the influence of the Hivite spirit generally believe they have no role to play in establishing God’s Kingdom on the earth. Many believing they do not need to do anything as it is all being done, or already has been done, and they must just wait for the rapture to occur = early retirement. This is clear evidence of the believer being under Hivite attack. Many believers under attack by the Perizzite spirit are crippled and “unable to walk” as individuals, always having to be “carried” by the pastor or leader. The “retirement-home” in the centre of the triangle of evil is the place where most believers currently pass their time, either having never learned to “fly”, to do anything prophetically, or having matured enough to start “flying”, are restricted to a life serving inside the church, not allowed outside to do what they were called to do. e.g., serving coffee in the church café instead of being a prophet. Not being aware of our callings allows us to be duped into inactivity, we ask ourselves “WHAT are we supposed to be doing?” If we hear the still small voice, we often question and doubt that God could use us for anything and then do nothing for fear of being disobedient. These poor decisions build up and build up, eventually we will be spat out of God’s mouth for being lukewarm, our despair at such a time is pointless there is nothing to be done for us, we failed in our life’s purpose and will not spend eternity how we might have.

The Girgashite influence on a soul-led teacher will insist on using old methods of teaching that have been known to work in the past even when new vibrant life-giving apostolic and spiritual revelation challenges it. Being determined to stick with the old and calling the new “heresy” or “blasphemous” is a classic symptom of a teacher under the influence of the Girgashite. This stems from refusing to accept spiritual understanding and sticking to soulish and literal perspectives. It is what is referred to in scripture as earthly. By not keeping the sabbath correctly and not allowing ourselves to wander into the unknown in our minds, we stay firmly embedded in the dirt of literal thinking.

A Jebusite soul-led apostle will uphold the Amorite soulish evangelist at the top of the false kingdom enforcing their rule, dictatorship, and fornication. The domination of their soul operating in the apostolic endowment would cause them to instigate unnecessary and unscriptural soulish laws or rules, in-accurate judgement, and unrighteousness.

The prophet under the attack of a Hittite spirit will experience unusual fears and terrors. They often sacrifice themselves for the wrong cause. Sometimes this is being an ardent campaigner for a worldly cause, or occasionally it creates depression leading to suicide.

The Canaanite spirit infesting most of the pastors in the church today causes them to like the soft and easy things, avoiding the issues that confront them. They adjust their preaching not to “scare the sheep away” and avoid making righteous judgements to address issues. They distort scripture to suit their own agenda and do not pursue God’s truth, they are only interested in the number of seats filled in the church and for the congregation to be saved from death but not saved unto God.

The seven-step progression from the starting place of each of the five ministry positions through to the perfected apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, or teacher is the growth pattern that each believer must go through to operate in their calling successfully and completely. These developmental stages are challenging and difficult for many reasons, but this is especially so when we are not taught the purpose of the seals of the apocalypse, and are told to ignore the admonishment and encouragement of the Revelation letters. However, scripture tells us the benefits of keeping and upholding the final book of the bible.

Revelation 1:1-3

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Working through from the black horse stage to the green horse stage, is particularly difficult because as shown in the table above (link) in step four the believer is operating in their natural calling. So e.g., a teacher in their fourth stage of development, is operating and learning in the teacher stage again as they were in the beginning naturally. This often brings a sense of complacency and a belief that all the growth, learning, and acquiring of knowledge is done, finished. For the growing but incomplete teacher to go from teacher/teacher into prophet/teacher, the final stage of teacherly development unto completion, where the teacher can at last feed the spirit and the soul is extremely difficult. To go from being a man-face to being an eagle-face, requires the individual to learn how to “fly”, to prophesy. It is useful at this stage for the teacher to read out-loud to themselves the Revelation letter to Sardis, the Lord’s indictment to those called as teachers.

Revelation 3:1-6

And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

This letter, as most of the Revelation letters, makes clear that God is a righteous and just God who does not shy away from being harsh and judgemental (see Psalm 147v19-20) There will be a dire consequence for not fulfilling our potential. We are all each personally responsible and cannot blame another person for the decisions we make in our faith journey. How would we feel standing before God as the cleaner of the church-toilets for ten years when He had called us to be a great evangelist? Or. How would we feel standing before God as the kitchen helper who always did the washing up at the church social gatherings, when He called us to be a great healer in the body of Christ? A chill should run down our spines at the grief of such a loss to the body and to God’s purposes.

(As a quick aside the gifts of the spirit are related to the five-fold ministry positions as follows).

Because the current “church” chooses not to recognise the callings of believers and enjoys forcing “square pegs into round holes” it is fair to say that the job you do outside of the church as your employment is often the one you are called to in the body of Christ. So, teachers work as teachers, apostles work as judges, lawyers, doctors, etc., (roles where they must quantify and measure against a standard). Prophets generally work in the creative industries, music, art, spoken word or other means to express what they see or hear, or wish they could afford to work in these creative industries whilst working in other areas. They may work as plumbers where the “waters flow”, or pilots who “fly like eagles”. Evangelists often work as salespeople, or build their own empire, building their own legacy instead of building God’s kingdom. Pastors often work in the care industry or the catering industry to serve and care for people. The table below shows the five-fold ministry positions and the Revelation letter relating to each calling, the purpose of development, and the name of God’s spirit present to help us when developing in that position.

For a detailed explanation of how the seven Revelation letters of admonishment and encouragement, are there to help us to recognise the seven facets of God, and man, and grow to maturity in them all, to fulfil our calling you may wish to purchase the excellent book,

Revelation 10:1-4

And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not

Body Building

It is God’s intention that all believers will operate in their calling, under the anointing of Christ, whilst using their spiritual gifts and the fruits of the spirit, in order that His plan be fulfilled. The latter-rain event relies upon this development in remnant believers occurring so that they can operate in two-witness evident-administration of the ministries, ministering to influence the other believers. The remnant goes through the tribulation associated with this advance-movement and the believers who do not listen or respond appropriately risk becoming enemies of God who are resisting His purposes.

Ephesians 4:11-16

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Building Blocks of the Soul

As we know we are tri-partite beings as God is. We have a body, a soul and a spirit and He is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We also have another less well-known, or less considered delineation of who we are as our soul is divided into three, the mind, the heart, and the emotions. Knowing where these three elements of our soul reside is important.

As can be seen in this simple illustration the emotions are in the central part of the soul, furthest from both the spirit and the body, so they have the most immediate impact on our soul. Neither our physical body, nor our spirit, have direct access or contact with our emotions as they are buffered on either side by our heart and our mind. An example of these positionings within our soul is evident when we find ourselves having an immediate emotional reaction to something which makes us angry or sad that seems “mind-less”. These positionings of the soul are also demonstrated by a physical impact or injury to our body when our reaction to it must first go through the mind where the physical impact is considered before our emotions then tell us the reaction, “Oh, that hurt.”

We can also see here that the heart is the element of our soul which is closest to the spirit, and the mind is the closest to our physical body. So, the heart is the gateway to our spirit. The mind is the physical element of the soul, and the emotions are the soulish part of the soul. When we live our lives in a state of over-thinking in the natural, we deny ourselves the opportunity to operate in our spirit. Having a sabbath each week where we “focus” on the invisible and intangible will help us develop spiritually.

The Lord expressed the importance of these three elements in His first commandment, and Paul states that our sanctification requires change in all three elements of our being.

Mark 12:30

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

1Thessalonians 5:23

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

When we hear the white horse of the apocalypse and begin the journey to have the seven seals of our 🤎 opened, we can now understand that the heart is nearest to the spirit than any other component of our soul. After the first seal is opened, by hearing the white horse, (N.B. we hear with our hearT) the Lord gives us a measure of evangelistic and prophetic grace to get us started on our journey, the prophetic bow, and the evangelistic crown (Revelation 6v2). These two ministry positions are both “male” and nurturing to the spirit. If we respond to the white horse and begin to “conquer” the false church from inside of it and begin preparation to “conquer” those outside of it, we then become a red horse rider. As such, we are given a “sword”, the apostolic endowment of righteousness and justice (judgement), thereby having a measure of all three of the “male” ministries functional inside of us, this represents the top half of the triangle of ministries. The bottom of the triangle refers to the “female” type pastor and teacher roles which only nurture the soul. Hence the need for God to give us these “spiritual nourishments” which the current church system is largely incapable of providing. These enabling gifts from God help us to undertake the roles of each of the horses. Without being equipped by God with these spiritual attributes and being encouraged and empowered to respond to the calls of the remaining horses the additional seals of our hearts cannot be opened, the soulish church system cannot be defeated, and we cannot progress to the perfection of our calling or become a spiritual being. We have a response-ability to listen and hear the Lord’s white horse shout. The Lord cannot “return” until we allow His spirit to operate within us with our souls submitting to His spirit. In short until we behave as Temples of God.

Three of 3, Temptations of the soul

The three temptations that the Lord encountered we also encounter in our journey through the opening of the seals. This journey which leads to our spiritual development, and maturing into the fullness of our callings, brings the fulfilment of God’s end-time purposes. The temptations are linked with the three men Jude warns us about and the pride and lusts that John said were signs of those who loved the world. In each of the red, black, and green horse stages of the apocalypse we face a different set of challenges that affect a different area of the soul.

Jude 1:4

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ

Jude 1:11

Woe unto them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. (Korah)

John 2:16

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

The Temptation of Soul’s Heart

The pride of life is the worldly snare that Cain was overtaken by when he murdered his younger brother Abel. (Genesis 4v8) He believed that because he was older, his method was right, and the younger brother Abel was wrong. As we know age has nothing to do with spiritual competency or maturity. Cain was using “earthly” methods to consider who was giving the correct offering to God. He brought an offering literally dug up from the earth, whilst Abel brought an offering of blood. The pride of life is evident when people believe they can justify decisions using the biological presence of something they were born with, a trait or inclination to something, or lack of something in another, to determine evidence for truth, being right, or give confirmation to act in a particular way, e.g., being right in a disagreement because you have blue eyes. If we refuse to harden our heart and remember that all believers are equal before God, so that we consider the spiritual circumstances not the natural ones, we can avoid loving the world and not loving our brother or sister regardless of whether they have blue eyes or not. Cain decided that his younger brother had nothing of importance or significance to offer the world and that he would not be missed. He labelled him as worthless and elevated himself to be of a higher rank. Cain gave in to the temptation that the Lord resisted. He believed himself to be “raised up on the pinnacle”, above Abel, based on age. From this elevated position he threw himself down from the temple expecting the angels, spirit beings, to bear him up. He expected the supernatural to submit to the natural, the invisible to submit to the visible.

Matthew 4:5-7

Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give His angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

The Temptation of Soul’s Emotions

The lust of the flesh is the worldly snare of prioritising something temporal and momentary in place of something eternally important. Seeking an emotional or material “thrill” instead of something with eternal significance. A short-term gain at the cost of a long term one. Satan attempted to tempt hungry Jesus to turn stones into bread. Balaam’s greed helped him to devise a plan to cause the people of Israel to sin so he could earn the payment of Balak. We should be grateful for God’s grace and consider the eternal purposes of it. Grace comes under the banner of righteousness, truth, and judgment (2Corinthians 6v9-18). We must focus our gaze on the important things and avoid selling ourselves short by pursuing something that satisfies our desire for a short-term, immediate fix without any commitment. If we focus on the eternal and avoid “lusting” after the things that are only of importance to our weak flesh now, we can avoid the pitfall of the lust of the flesh. We must ask ourselves if the thing we are pursuing will still be important in 100 years or 1000 years. Eternity is a long time where we will likely regret much of what we do whilst influenced by the lust of the flesh. If we succumb to the lust of the flesh, we can rest assured that the black horse rider will come with his scales and judge us for our misuse of grace. When he arrives will the fancy car, tropical holidays, or designer clothes, all those material blessings, be worth what we could have had in the spiritual. Will we regret not fulfilling our calling or living the life God wanted us to have? Will we regret mis-using the evangelistic endowment we were given to conquer kingdoms, or be happy with our exotic holidays paid for with the wealth we earned whilst building our own kingdom? Or maybe the black horse will judge us for being so happy with the emotional benefits of staying in a congregation that loves us and makes our time of worship there so soothing, that we forgot that God told us to abandon them and move on. We valued the emotional blessings more than making a sacrifice for God. Will it bother us that we protected our own feelings but didn’t use our prophetic bow to fulfil our calling to be a prophet?

1Peter 2:4

To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Matthew 4:1-4

Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

The Temptation of Soul’s Mind

The lust of the eyes is the love of the world that blinds our judgement. We see that which is bad as good and vice versa. The things that would be beneficial to growth of our spirit are perceived as evil. The things that are benefitting our soul are perceived as good. So, the soulish, matriarchal church prevails. The common perception of being “under the covering” of the perceived “head of the church building” that we attend on a Sunday morning is a classic example of having fallen for the lust of the eyes. Do we truly believe our “leader” prays for every individual member of the congregation and knows what God is saying about all of them. If we are sure of this, we should ask them. If we are not “under their covering”, and we are operating in our soul, just as they are, we are not operating in the spirit of the one who died for us, then we are naked before God. We must operate under the covering of our spirit. Are we becoming the Temples of God? Yes. Is His presence there inside of us? We must let His spirit take up the place of honour above our soul. Has God been sending people with a different or new message to us? Did we hear what they had to say, or did we reject it because it differed to the message our “leader” gave us? Did we consider that these messengers might be from God, or do we uphold our “church leader” as our god? Did we question why strange and peculiar messenger-angels are trying to help break other believers out of the prison of the soulish matriarchy? Remember that our “leaders” do not want us to access our own spiritual authority and calling because they have been using it, our portion of God-given authority, for themselves. They would prefer us to stay crippled by Perizzite fear or lazing in Hivite retirement. Did we keep our eyesight free from the lust of the eyes? Are we too busy, enjoying loving the world and worshipping the enemy to remember that we should fear God and worship Him alone?

Matthew 4:8-10

Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

This is God’s words to the leaders (pastors, priests, bishops etc) that we often revere and believe are providing a covering over us, a covering that was provided to us each individually by the Lord from the moment of our salvation.

Isaiah 28:14-18

Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem. Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

God-willing by reading this shocking indictment to the “scornful men,” i.e., soulish leaders, it will help us to see our local “church leader” from God’s perspective. They are about to be trodden down.

A comprehensive table of the multiple quests we must undergo is shown below with keys to resist the pitfalls.

Before we move on, have you ever noticed that the Lord often gives us hints about how to remember things with strange or quirky links in things, or the spelling of a particular word, coincidences. Here the Lord gives us one of these prompts, so the “P” of pestilence reminds us of the Pride of life and how God’s red horse riders fight against this pride by bringing pestilence. The “F” of famines relates to the lust of the Flesh, and how God’s black horse riders issue decrees against the false pursuits, diminishing the unnecessary by famine, and the “E” of earthquakes reminds us of the lust of the Eyes and how God’s green horse riders bring earthquakes to open our eyes to that which our minds have been blinded too. So, in this journey of natural to spiritual, the battle of kingdom versus kingdom the P challenges P, F destroys F and E opens E.

Kingdom versus Kingdom

When we overcome the enemy in the 2nd seal and start operating as a red horse, teacher-apostle, we begin verbally challenging the soulish functioning of the false church structure by yielding the apostolic “sword” given to us by the Lord to create division. In our previous document The Revelation of Revelation we showed how Matthew 24 identifies the events that will bring his return. In verse 7, the Lord details the timing of these events.

Matthew 24:7

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

The famines, pestilences and earthquakes are to be brought about by the spiritually informed behaviour of the advancing horses. It would be easy to believe these are literal famines, pestilences, and earthquakes but scripture here is to be interpreted spiritually not literally or else verse 17 would only apply to those living in properties with flat roofs and verse 19 would only apply to pregnant women.

Unfortunately, we are living through extremely difficult times now because many believers and “bible vegetarians” have given their belief, a type of “battery power”, to a literal interpretation of scripture expecting an actual famine, a pestilence (a type of plague according to Strong’s concordance), and an earthquake to occur before the Lord returns. So, we could say that many of the hardships experienced in recent times are “self-inflicted”. It may cause dismay to read this, but God’s word tells us that we should pray that His kingdom come to earth as in heaven. (The Lord’s prayer). And that we do not battle with flesh and blood but with principalities, and powers of darkness in heavenly places (Ephesians 6v12). This is a battle of the mind, our mind, which is Christ’s, if we will have it, against those who pursue alternative things of the darkness or false literal meaning where spiritual meaning should have been applied.

As you know we live in a fallen world where many are not believers. So, there is much done by evil means that is the mirror opposite of God’s intention. Some of this is done by the enemy through believers who do not understand who they are working for in their soulish or weakened state. God’s word describes a time where nation will fight against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. This implies there is power on both sides. Much of the power of the enemy has come from the misapplication of our faith, the “battery power” of our belief which makes those things which are not as though they were. God is currently showing us here on earth what is happening in the heavenlies, in the lives of the believers, and how we function, or more accurately misfunction by not correctly interpreting His word.

It has been possible for many years to see the practical application, in fallen society, of believer’s minimal knowledge of scripture and the misunderstanding and misapplication of it, e.g., many believers don’t want to delve into the “meaty depths” of scripture. They prefer to just drink “milk”, the easy things to understand. They are in effect “biblical vegetarians”. The fallen society around us then copies this example by becoming actual vegetarians who do not eat meat - on earth as in heaven. If we apply this “on earth as in heaven” principle to our current situation of being in the end of the end times and expecting PESTilence, famine. and earthquake, (in correct order), we see that fallen society/evil/misdirected believers have provided the PESTilence(one-nine) that the “bible vegetarians” were expecting and perhaps even hoping for as a sign of His return. If those invited to be red horse riders had heard the white horse and responded spiritually to God’s call, they would have instead spoken out and disrupted the church’s peace. They would have questioned the false hierarchy and caused division, they would have been a nuisance and a pest, and we would not have had the pest/plague, the evil, distorted, mirror image of what God was waiting for us to activate. So, God was waiting for us to cause division inside the church structure but instead we had division of families and friends and standing a measured-out distance from other people. This was not the red horse pest he had prophesied. It is worth stating here that whilst we wait for God to act, He is waiting for us to act, remember He gave dominion on the earth to us.

If we choose to become a red horse rider now, we will bring PESTilence and disturbance. We will become an irreverent and “disrespectful” nuisance to the “pastoral matriarchy” system. Our beginning-to-shine-spirit will start to disturb the comfortable structure of peace and quiet inside the retirement-home. We will challenge the falsely instigated structure and hierarchy of “the church body” that should be the bride of Christ with it’s one and only head.

Revelation 6:4

And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should “kill” one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

Acts 24:1-5

And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul. And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence, We accept it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness. Notwithstanding, that I be not further tedious unto thee, I pray thee that thou wouldest hear us of thy clemency a few words. For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes.

If we choose to become a black horse rider, apostle-prophet, we will bring a famine upon the believers still inside the retirement home. If this is done by spiritual means as God’s word intended, and not literal interpretations inspired by lack of knowledge or hand holding with the enemy, this will not be a literal shortage of food. Instead, it will be an increased cost for doing the wrong thing, i.e., pursuing the material and emotional - temporal blessings, and not pursuing the Kingdom of God on earth, or the eternal oil and wine of the prophetic and evangelistic, or our eternal inheritance. The spiritual famine brought in by God’s black horse riders will separate believers from the lustful pursuit of false grace. They will no longer pursue the Hittite (prophetic-enemy) and Amorite (evangelistic-enemy) blessings of material and emotional wealth. The black horse spiritual famine will bring focus upon the pursuit of the spiritual and righteous, the oil and wine, which are not to be hurt by the famine. The temporal pleasures pursued without covenant death or commitment, and their short-lived benefits will become of no importance. The materialistic things believers pursued will be taken away.

However, if this scripture continues to be believed in and awaited literally, and believers do not take up their spiritual callings, or yearn for the new world order of God, then a great famine will befall the world. If those called as pastors do not become apostle/pastors operating in righteousness and wisdom, and teachers do not become prophet/teachers to feed believers spiritually, then they are lining themselves up for God’s wrath. As are all the believers who are not operating in their endowment, or responding to the invitation of the white horse, and building the body of Christ or becoming a spirit being. There are already signs of actual food shortages beginning. This event will not be the fulfilment of God’s plan. A global famine would be the engineered fulfilment of a distorted mirror view of scripture, by evil plan and purpose, and those who work against God. Some of these participants will be deceived believers who believe they were doing His bidding, believing his word. Whilst most of the others, unbelievers, descendants of the first-Adam generation, would be creating, by heinous acts, what our literal interpretation of scripture, our “faith battery”, is believing for. They will attempt to engineer a literal famine.

Revelation 6:5-6

And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

Revelation 3:17 (Laodicea)

Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.

Proverbs 9:1-6

Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars: She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table. She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city, Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him, Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled. Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.

If we choose to become a green horse rider, a prophet-pastor, we will release spiritual earthquakes that shatter the foundations of the false structures that imprison our brothers and sisters in soulish purposelessness. The prophetic operation undertaken by the green horse riders will finally rid the “body-of-Christ” believers of the “pastoral matriarchy”, spiritually dead soulish leaders. Those believers who have discerned the spiritual freedom and growth they can now access from within will cast out as enemies of God those they once revered - those who have obstructed His plans with their own soulish tripe. These false leaders and “heads” of the church will be forced to endure the “death and hell” struggle and tribulation that the remnant believers had to go through to bring about the destruction of the church system and break the oppression of their brothers and sisters. But if believers continue to believe for a literal earthquake to shake the world before the Lord’s return, giving the power of their “faith-battery” to this literal simplistic interpretation, then by evil intent and cunning the world will either be smashed into a gazillion pieces of a puzzle, or the evil and cunning planners will concoct a different type of prison to entomb us all inside of as spiritually dead and lame.

Revelation 6:7

And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Numbers 16:28-34

And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind. If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me. But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD. And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them: And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation. And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.

Acts 16:25

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

The Free Bus Pass

So, we can see that as we go through the seven steps necessary to mature and become complete in our callings, we must also defeat the seven ungodly spirits that will encourage our soul to behave as a “spiritual being” whilst malfunctioning. When we add to this consideration the reality that each stage necessitates change in all three areas of our soul; the heart, the emotions, and the mind, we can see this is quite some challenge. We should not be discouraged here as the Lord has, as with all things, made it possible. One of the first obstacles to overcome is the misconception that we are already complete in Him. Whether we know our calling or not, we can glean from reading the Revelation letters as if they arrived in our mail today that God wants us all to fulfil our purpose. It is God’s will for us all to become that which He planned from the beginning.

When we hear the white horse shout and recognise our priestly position before God, He gives us a bow and a crown. As we saw previously these represent a portion of two of the male ministry anointing's. We must remember that these authority-infused gifts are to be used for God’s eternal purposes, not for our materialistic or emotional needs. We should be using these spiritual functionalities to battle in spirit to establish God’s Kingdom on the earth. We should be “keeping” and praying for the fulfilment of the prophecies of Revelation, with spiritual interpretation, not literal or traditional ones. And we should be looking forward to, and longing for, the future and better things to come, the Lord’s return and God’s new world order. We should not be concerned with the temporal or looking back to the so-called “good old days”. Shouldn’t we embrace our new covenant direct relationship with God? Shouldn’t we be doing all we can to bring about the end of the end times, the end of chronological time? Don’t each of us in the body, as spiritual beings, have a response-ability (Ephesians 4) to do our part so that we can spend eternity with our Heavenly Father?

Some of you may have detected that this battle and the seven steps we must go through represent an encounter with seven triplets (shown below). These seven represent the development in our seven-facetted nature that we must undergo to reach completion, 7. It must be remembered that at each stage it is a three-part soul that is being pursued, re-modelled, and re-positioned so these seven stages are each at three levels of complexity.

As we saw in our previous article the Lord’s narration of the end of the age in Matthew 24 links to the book of Revelation, so the red, black and green horses of the apocalypse and the trials and temptations we must endure and overcome are all presented before us to develop the spirit within us, to bring our soul into submission to His spirit, and strive to complete the opening of the seals of our heart and The Revelation of Christ.

God-willing we may all now have a greater understanding of “WHAT” we are to do as believers and followers of God. We all, as the one body of Christ, need to do our part, fulfil our purpose and God’s plan for our lives, in His timing. Time is short. Our long-suffering God has already had to wait for a very long time - do we want to keep him waiting? Are we happy to watch and wait for the world to succumb to an actual global famine, or a mass-engineered earthquake of monumental proportions as literal destructions? Will we have peace that a pest/plague caused by our idleness/idol-ness or indifference to the corrupt church structure, that we allowed “infection” not red-horse pestilent, division to separate us? Or have we built our own food stores to get us through a global famine, when our brothers and sisters starve through not hearing the black horse judgement prayers that we should have spoken out into the atmosphere or the prophecy that we should have delivered? Or will we be comfortable in our earthquake-proof home whilst the rest of our brothers and sisters get buried under a monumental pile of fake-green horse rubble?

Some may question what has been said here on the basis that “the natural is the forerunner of the spiritual”, which it is. So, it is possible that some believers hear a “natural” threat of famine but then come to the correct understanding of the issue being a “spiritual” famine, and the Lord’s desire to judge those inside the “abomination of desolation” church and their soulish pursuit of the emotional and material. These things are our choice, it is down to us – God’s people, the people of faith. God gave us dominion on the earth so we could get the work done, to bring His Kingdom. We have been “busy doing nothing” for too long, waiting for Him to act. When will be the right time for us to unite and mobilise as the spiritual people God called us to be? When will we all begin working in spirit through prayer and prophecy, in tune with His purposes? When will we take for ourselves that which was ours from the beginning, denouncing, and defeating the adulterous “leaders” who obstruct and rob us of the intimate relationship we all desire, so we can be Kings and Priests unto Him, and become the body and bride we all hope to be?

 Romans 13v11-14

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness and let us put on the  armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

To understand the book of Revelation, it is good to begin by questioning - what is about to be revealed? Or who is about to be revealed? As we know the full title of the final book of scripture is The Revelation of Christ. Regrettably, many believers have not yet understood how He will be revealed and where, and this is delaying His return.
